Our Supporters
Norfolk Community Foundation
The Norfolk Community Foundation has played a vital role in supporting Earlham Community Shop, helping us to continue providing affordable food and essential support to local residents. Through grant funding and providing us with the bulk of our food, the Foundation has enabled the shop to strengthen its services, respond to rising community need, and create a welcoming space that promotes dignity and inclusion. This support has helped ensure the shop remains a sustainable, community-led resource for Earlham and the surrounding area.
Earlham Nursery School
Earlham Nursery School has supported us by working in partnership to strengthen the local community and support families who may be facing financial pressure. Through sharing information with parents, signposting families to the shop, and taking part in community initiatives, the nursery helps ensure that support reaches those who need it most. This collaboration reinforces a joined-up, community-focused approach to tackling food insecurity and supporting local families.
Fare Share
Fare Share has supported Earlham Community Shop by providing regular deliveries of surplus food, helping to keep shelves stocked with a wide range of nutritious items at low cost. This partnership reduces food waste while ensuring the shop can reliably support local households facing financial hardship.
Business In The Community
Business in the Community has supported us through a mix of skills sharing, corporate donations, and amplifying our voice. By bringing corporate partners to visit the shop and hear directly about our work, they have helped raise awareness of our mission. This support has also led to practical contributions, including donations of food and winter essentials, providing vital support to our members when they need it most.
The Henderson Trust
The Henderson Trust has supported us through community connection and the use of their community centre to host our cooking classes. By providing a welcoming space for these sessions, they have helped us support members to build confidence, develop practical cooking skills, and make the most of the food available to them. This partnership strengthens local relationships and extends the impact of our work beyond the shop.
Crossroads Church
Crossroads Church has supported Earlham Community Shop by providing both practical and advocacy-based support within the community. With one of our directors working at the church, the partnership has enabled us to use church spaces as a venue for activities and events. The church also acts as a strong voice for our service, helping to raise awareness and champion the shop’s work within the wider community.
Cadent Gas
Cadent Gas has supported Earlham Community Shop by providing funding as part of their Warm Spaces programme. This support helps us offer a safe, welcoming place where members can keep warm, connect with others, and access additional support during colder months. The funding strengthens our ability to support the wellbeing of the community while reducing the pressures faced by households affected by rising energy costs.
Through Cadent we have also received training about energy efficiency and the tools we need to share information with members.
Local Welcome Meals
The fanatstic team from Local Welcome Meals have supported us through collecting surplus food from Bread Source. This food is distributed for free to our members.
